The government filed a revised petition against the Supreme Court's decision to remove Nawaz Sharif from the presidency, which the registrar rejected. The government demanded a 2-month retirement to re-submit the revision request.

In the revision request, the Ministry of Law asserted that in court judgment article 17 describes reading together with Article 62, 63. Making or joining a political party is fundamental constitutional right and Article 17 allows it.

Approved in the application was the cohesive that the constitutional right could not be applied to any other article, the court revised the 21st February decision.
